Storytelling Strategy

Gutes Storytelling folgt Mustern, die wir instinktiv verstehen – weil sie tief in unserer kulturellen Prägung verankert sind.

In our work, we apply the principle of the seven basic plots — recurring patterns found in literature, film, and brand communication — from the hero setting out to overcome the monster to the journey that restores order (“The Quest”). These narrative structures ensure that content is intuitively understood and emotionally experienced.

This isn’t about “storytelling” in the sense of charming anecdotes — it’s about strategic narration that connects with how people perceive media today. Drawing on Christian Mikunda’s concept of the “Strategy of Emotional Spaces,” I consider how audiences read, interpret, and process media content. The goal is not to underestimate their media literacy, but to consciously engage with it.

Unser Storytelling Service

•    Define Narrative Structure & Core Plot
Which core plot fits the brand, the message, or the context? Together, we identify the narrative type that best aligns.
•    Develop Dramaturgy
Based on the chosen structure, we develop a narrative framework — for brand universe, content, and channels.
•    Implement Storyframes
The defined narrative form is translated into concrete formats — website, video, campaign, text, or presentation — consistent, but never rigid.

Strategic storytelling means not just telling people something — but making them feel what you mean.
It’s the art of turning attention into meaning.
